2012-2013 Team GPS

Cast of characters for the 2012/2013 field season. The 5 member Team GPS is the subset of the larger (~40) WISSARD field crew. We will be the first out on the ice at Lake Whillans to re-survey the drill site and plant a flag that says “PLEASE DRILL HERE.” We are a professor, two PhD students, a writer, and a photographer. Four of whom call California home. We’re definitely not in Kansas anymore.

Doug – Wordsmith; jargon interpretor
